The sheet metal stamping department, located in
the productive building of San Giorgio
Canavese, is composed by 11 mechanical
presses (up to 300 tons) complete with an
automatic line for the production of
progressive dies use, but there are also
hydraulic and mechanical presses for the
simple non-automatic metal stamping. The most
modern stamping technologies are used,
included the possibility of making threading
operations, bushing embedding and small
assemblies directly on the progressive die in order to
obtain totally finished parts.
The ordinary maintenance of the dies is
realised directly in an equipped department
in San Giorgio plant while the extraordinary
operations are made in Ozegna plant (tools
manufacture).
